Refund and Cancellation Policy – Akku
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled for Akku, an OTT streaming platform operated by Genz Philam Entertainment.
By purchasing or renewing any subscription plan on Akku, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. No refund policy
1.1. All subscription fees paid to Akku are final and non‑refundable.
1.2. Once a payment is successfully processed for any subscription plan, no refund, reversal, or credit will be provided, including (but not limited to) cases of:
- Change of mind
- Limited usage or non‑usage of the service
- Content preference or dissatisfaction with content or features
- Device incompatibility where minimum technical requirements are not met by the user
1.3. No partial or pro‑rated refunds will be issued for any remaining period of an active subscription.
2. Subscription cancellation
2.1. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Account" / "Subscription" section (when available) or by contacting support at genzphilam@gmail.com with your registered details.
2.2. Cancellation stops future renewals (if auto‑renewal is enabled) but does not entitle you to a refund for the current active subscription period.
2.3. After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the already‑paid term, and access will automatically expire at the end of that term.
3. Auto‑renewal (if enabled)
3.1. If your plan includes auto‑renewal, the subscription fee will be automatically charged at the beginning of each billing cycle using your selected payment method, until you cancel.
3.2. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date shown in your account or on the payment/plan page.
3.3. Charges that have already been processed for a renewal are non‑refundable.
4. Payment failures and duplicate charges
4.1. If your bank/payment provider debits your account but your subscription is not activated or renewed, please contact support at genzphilam@gmail.com with:
- Registered email or mobile number
- Transaction ID/reference number
- Date, time, and amount paid
- Payment method used
4.2. Genuine cases of failed activation or duplicate charge will be checked with the payment gateway/bank. If confirmed, such amounts may be adjusted as a subscription credit or refunded back to the original payment method, at the sole discretion of Genz Philam Entertainment and subject to payment partner rules.
4.3. Time taken for reversal/credit is dependent on banks and payment partners and is outside the direct control of Akku.
5. Free trials, offers and promotional plans
5.1. Any free trial, introductory offer or promotional plan, if provided, will be governed by the specific terms shown at the time of the offer.
5.2. Unless specifically stated otherwise, paid subscriptions started after a free or discounted period will remain non‑refundable.
6. Service interruptions and changes
6.1. Temporary unavailability, buffering, or quality issues arising from internet connectivity, device limitations or external technical factors do not qualify for any refund.
6.2. Akku may add, modify, or remove content, features, or plans from time to time. Such changes do not create any right to a refund for existing subscriptions.
